Number 10: Great White Shark

Giant mouth with 300 sharp teeth over 3 inches long. 

Found in many oceans around the world. This predator is responsible for 300 deaths since the 1500s and has attacked many more people. They usually eat seals, sea lions and small whales.

Fun Fact: A great white has a great sense of smell.

 

Number 9: Cape Buffalo

This is one huge powerful cow from Africa. It weighs up to 1,700 pounds, and it’s a plant-eater nicknamed the black death. In Africa, the old bulls are called the generals.

 

 

Number 8: Brazilian Wandering Spider

The world’s most toxic spider on earth. Found in South America, they usually hide in bananas and that’s why the natives call them banana spiders. 

You may or may not survive a bite from the venom of this spider.

Number 7: Hippopotamus

The Hippopotamus is a huge and heavy animal, but is it really dangerous? The answer is yes. Hippos are responsible for more deaths in Africa than any other animal. About 3,000 people are killed by hippos every year. Hippos are very dangerous because they are very aggressive. They often fight with each other and other animals. If people bother a group of hippos, the animals will charge them. They’re fast runners. They will knock into boats and the people sailing in them.

This is among the most venomous animals in the world. You can find it in warm ocean waters around the world.

It has venom and teeth to kill you. People may be stung by it if they pick it up.

 

 

Number 5: Saltwater Crocodile

The Saltwater Crocodile is the largest reptile in the world.

It is a very dangerous predator that lies in ambush looking like a log floating in the water. Where they live is Australia and southeast Asia. They hunt large prey like wild boar and water buffalo and other animals coming to the river to drink. There have been some cases of this reptile attacking humans in a year.

The box jellyfish is the most toxic creature in the world.

They are responsible for more human attacks than sharks.

Found in Australia and Southeast Asia, this sea creature must be avoided at all cost. They are good swimmers too, so avoid swimming with them because it takes five minutes for the venom to kill you.

Teste flies live in Africa, and they are very dangerous because they suck blood, so while you’re in Africa watch out for these deadly flies.

It’s huge, fast and aggressive. The black mamba is the second-longest venomous snake in the world after the king cobra. It has venom strong enough to kill you. It’s hard to imagine anything can outdo the black mamba in the terror rankings, but there’s one creature that does exactly that.

The mosquito is the world’s deadliest animal, causing more than one million deaths every year, according to the World Health Organization. It causes more deaths than any other creature on earth, and so it takes the top spot in the lineup of the deadliest animals in the world.
