“I am happy with my performances. I finished second in the 500, which is good for this early in the season,” senior Jack Considine said. “The team goal for this year is to win Districts, and then just go fast and have fun as a team.”

As the team looks to progress throughout their season and make it to the state meet, they recap on the season so far.

“At the Iowa City West meet it was good to come home with a victory. I got second in both of my events. My personal goal is to hopefully make the state meet in both of those events, and the team goal is to qualify as well.” junior Kieran Degroote said. “Another goal for the team is to have a few of the relay teams win their event at Districts, to set us up for hopefully a top five finish at the state meet.”

The team’s next meet will take place on Saturday Dec. 9, at Holmes Junior High in Cedar Falls.
