What made you want to play rugby?
I watched a lot of the boys rugby in the spring season, and I really liked it.
Were you scared about the possible injuries?
Yes, before I even started playing or practicing at all, it looked like a really rough sport, so it looked like I would get hurt a lot.
What was it like being a part of a first year team?
It was really cool because we didn’t expect to be crazy good or anything, but we ended up being in the top four.
What was the state experience like?
It was really fast pace, freezing cold. We did really good.
Do you want to play after high school?
I’ve considered playing for the Hawketts, but I don’t know. We will see where that goes.
What do you enjoy most about playing?
Getting closer to the girls on the team. After playing all those games and going to State, we really became a family.
What was your favorite memory?
Playing at Rockwell. We had two games in the pouring rain. It was freezing cold, and we beat the crap out of the other teams.
