Manson plans V-Day release

Marilyn Manson has been a controversial figure evers since he rose to fame in the early ’90s, and grew in popularity thanks to his self-appointed name, “Antichrist Superstar” and reputation as a rumored Satanist.

But what has Mr. Manson been up to in the past years? He regained popularity with his 2015 album, the “Pale Emperor,” which featured many industrial themes, and a bit of a resurgence to his roots.

His roots being heavy controversial themes like the one expressed in his song “killing strangers,” which explores gun violence and the second amendment.

In his lyrics “We’re killing strangers, so we don’t kill the ones that we love” he claims guns to be necessary to protect the ones we love, while it could also be taken in the opposite direction.

The entirety of the song could be taken as ironic, and is actually against the second amendment and gun violence.

Now, all fans can do is wait for his upcoming 10th studio album, “Say10” which is set to release on Valentine’s day, and listen to what Mr. Manson himself has to say about his upcoming album, “It seems like a time for me as an artist, and as an American artist, to make something that causes a new set of questions to arise that aren’t simply statements” and about the preview to one of the songs on his new album.
