Art cards make great gifts, support Humane Society

By Haley Williams

It’s the season of giving, or so they say.  The Holmes ninth grade art students plan on doing just that this December.

They plan on selling the cards in bulks, about four in each bulk, for $6.  This money will be going to the Cedar Bend Humane Society in a big check.

“I thought that the project was a good idea because in the real world people are using art to make a difference, and I wanted students to be able to get the same experience because student art can also made a difference and is also amazing,” Ashley Cardamone, a Holmes art teacher, said.

The Holmes ninth grade students hope to have them all sold by Jan. 6, 2017.

For those who wish to buy one, they can contact Haley Williams at  She can set up a time with you.
