Snack Attack: Despite poll, Curious George deserves top fruit snack

Flavor:

Curious George has a far superior flavor to Scooby Doo fruit snacks. Scooby Doo fruit snacks receives all of the notoriety for the famous blue fruit snack. This is perhaps the most popular fruit snack of all time. My question, however, is why should one good flavor define an entire brand of fruit snacks? The answer: It shouldn’t. All this hype over one lone fruit snack flavor is preposterous. Meanwhile, you have top-notch brands such as Curious George being overlooked. Curious George fruit snacks are delicious across the board. One can have his or her taste buds satisfied by every flavor.

Texture:

Texture is also a huge factor in determining the quality of a fruit snack. It takes a special kind of fruit snack to deliver the perfect amount of chewiness. Scooby Doo snacks are a very poor example of well-balanced texture. They are too gel-like and glossy. I don’t know about anyone else, but I don’t want to be chewing on shaving gel. On the other hand, Curious George fruit snacks have found the delicate balance between too much and not enough.  They are chewy enough while not getting stuck in one’s teeth. They are truly the perfect texture.

Packaging:

Packaging is an important factor in making a great fruit snack as well. Scooby Doo fruit snacks think they can win one over with an abundance of gaudy packaging and childish puzzles/games on the back of the box. Curious George keeps it OG. They provide a simple yet stylish box with no gimmicks. They let consumers know they’re a good fruit snack, and that’s what matters. The bright yellow box with George the monkey staring at the array of flavors before him is enough to get the message across that the contents in the box are delicious.

Conclusion:

Despite the results of the poll, Curious George reigns on top as the highest quality fruit snacks on the market. The unmatched combination of flavor, texture and packaging makes these tiny, fruit-flavored chews the perfect afternoon snack. People have praised Scooby Doo fruit snacks for far too long. It’s time for the real MVP to be recognized. It’s time for a change. It’s time to rise up and put Curious George fruit snacks on the pedestal it deserves. Sorry, Scooby Doo, but this mystery has been solved.
