Q&A with school nurse Lori Hansen

Today, I interviewed our school nurse, Lori Hansen, BSN, RN, to learn more about what they do for our school.

I asked her what her favorite part of being a school nurse was, and she said helping students feel better so they can get back to their day.

One interesting thing I learned about her typical day is that it is busy and always a little different and unpredictable. When students are feeling sick, the nurse helps them by encouraging them to eat a balanced diet, drink a lot of water and make sure to exercise.

Hansen said she decided to become a school nurse because she wanted to help people and make a difference in their lives.

We are lucky to have her at our school because it is important to stay healthy and be strong.

From, Maya
