Drama club holds fundraisers for new mics
The drama club will be holding a bake sale fundraiser in the Tiger’s Den on Feb. 7 and 8. The sale will be open from 7:15 to 7:55 a.m. on both days. The goal of the fundraiser is to purchase much needed new equipment.
Junior Elene Kodanashvili said, “Being able to buy new equipment would be so incredibly helpful to the department. Everyone works so hard to put on a great show and having new mics would really take the quality of future performances to the next level.”
This week there is another fundraiser event as well selling T-shirts and hoodies. Molly Magill, one of the directors for the theater department, said, “This fundraiser is live now, and will be open until Friday.”
The shirts can be found online at https://www.scalewears.com/product/cf-drama/. There is only one day left to purchase drama merchandise, but the bake sale will be open all next week.
