Students react to NFL draft
The NFL draft recently concluded. Sophomore Fletcher Yates said, “Football is one of my favorite sports and every year when draft day come around me and my dad sit down together and just watch it and have a great time.”
Sophomore Nick Grover said, “I really enjoy the draft especially this year because first I would like to say congrat to Jack Cambell. He went to Cedar Falls High School, and I know him. He really worked hard on himself and made it far in life. That’s what’s fun about the drafts. You don’t know what to expect and who will get drafted first pick, second pick; it’s just all interesting.”
Campbell was drafted to the Detroit Lions in the first round.
