Senior releases music through Soundcloud
Senior Daniel Mitchell expresses himself through music.
From writing a song a day, to producing and releasing songs onto different streaming platforms, Mitchell does a variety of things music related.
Starting his musical journey early, Mitchell’s dad played music over his mother’s belly in hopes that his children would be musically inclined.
At the age of five, his mom first heard his voice while singing along to a Chris Brown song in the backseat of a car.
His father owns a music studio in Waterloo, so Mitchell is open to professional tools in creating his art, and he said being in church has also helped him with his music.
Mitchell said he has always had his voice but has opened his abilities and has learned to be able to create a whole song. He said, “It makes me more than just a voice, now I’m the whole song.”
