Use these tips to travel safely during the winter break

During the Holidays, it can be difficult to keep away from family, even during a global pandemic. Here are some ways you and your family can stay healthy, this holiday season.

    1. Wash your hands/using hand sanitizer: I know it gets repetitive, hearing this, but it’s one of the most effective ways to keep yourself from putting bad germs into your body while eating or touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
    2. Social Distancing: Staying away from others who don’t live in the same house as you would be the best way to do this. However, it can be more difficult around the holiday to stay away from other family members who live their own lives around different groups of people. If you are unable to maintain a safe distance of six feet from others, wearing a mask when in close proximity to other members of family or friends who are around would be the best way to solve this issue.
    3. Wear a mask: Wearing a mask has been found to be very effective if worn correctly. If safe distances are unable to be maintained between people, a mask would be a great help with lowering your risks of getting COVID-19.
    4. Not sharing food/beverage: Keeping your germs to yourself will be very helpful to you and your family.
    5. Keeping numbers limited: It will be great to be able to see family over the holidays, but keeping gatherings smaller would be best to slow the spread of COVID-19.
