Ryan Ostrich | Football
In the Tiger’s 44-0 thrashing of No. 15 Dubuque Senior in the opening round of the football playoffs on Friday, Nov. 1, junior Ryan Ostrich rushed for 136 yards and two touchdowns.
What do you enjoy most about playing football?
I really like the competitiveness and the contact in the sport.
Who is one upperclassman you look up to on the football team and why?
Collin [Bohnenkamp] because I admire his work ethic.
What made you want to start playing football?
I have played since I was a kid, and I have always watched it, and it’s been a dream of mine to play college football.
Can we plan on seeing you participating in any other sports this year, and, if so, what?
I plan on running track.
Do you plan on playing football after high school?
I hope to.
What has been your favorite memory the season with the team?
Being undefeated and celebrating every win.
What is your outlook going into this Friday’s game?
I think it is going to be a very exciting game.
