Freshmen find fall style

Kati Rodgers

Q: What inspired your Look?

A: The warm colors and the vibe I and many others get from the fall season really inspired my outfit.

Q: Where do you get your clothes?

A: I get most of my clothes from American Eagle. It’s sometimes hard to see everything when I go into a store to shop, so I tend toward online shopping. That way I can see a more widely spaced out selection of many more clothes.

Q: What’s your favorite part about the outfit?

A: My favorite part of my look would have to be my pants. They give me kind of a vintage feel and are super comfortable and my style.

Q: What’s your “go to” look for the fall?

A: Probably leggings and a sweatshirt. It’s the most practical thing to wear all day for school.

Q: Do you have any tips or tricks for finding your style?

A: My advice would be to be yourself when picking out clothes, even though it sounds cheesy. You’re really the only person that knows your own specific style, so pick what you like.

Q: What inspired your Look?

A: I get a lot of my fashion sense from my older sister, and I usually put on what looks the most comfortable that morning.

Q: Where do you get your clothes?

A: I get my clothes at anywhere that’s cheap really. I don’t care about brand name stuff, so Target is a go to.

Q: What’s your favorite part about the outfit?

A: Usually my favorite part of an outfit is when the pants have pockets big enough for me to put my phone in them so it’s more convenient.

Q: What’s your “go to” look for the fall?

A: Typically, I aim toward warmer colors and clothes. Sweaters and jeans are always good and comfy for a school day.

Q: Do you have any tips or tricks for finding your style?

A: I take looks that I like that other people wear and personalize them to my liking. I’ll sometimes watch a music video or two just to look at the clothing styles.

Q: What inspired your Look?

A: This is an outfit that I’ll wear a lot, but I was kind of going after a theme of blue with silver accents. The red in my flowy jacket adds a little bit of eye-catching contrast.

Q: Where do you get your clothes?

A: I get a lot of my stuff from my mom, to be honest, but I typically get my own stuff from Kohls.

Q: What’s your favorite part about the outfit?

A: My favorite part of my outfit is the dark blue flowy, jacket-like piece with the butterflies.

Q: What’s your “go to” look for the fall?

A: I typically wear jeans and a T-shirt with some sort of decoration, whether that be earrings, a necklace, a scarf or a jacket.

Q: Do you have any tips or tricks for finding your style?

A: Variety and color scheme. Don’t wear the same thing. Mix it up, and make sure that the colors and patterns go together. Also, try to accentuate one thing. This draws the eye and makes you stand out.

Q: What inspired your Look?

A: My look is inspired by the 1990s.

Q: Where do you get your clothes?

A: I get my clothes from mainly Express, American Eagle and Von Maur. Though when I go out of town I always find good prices at Nordstrom or Forever 21.

Q: What’s your favorite part about the outfit?

A: My favorite part about the outfit is probably the mom jeans. They add a little edge to the outfit. Jeans go with almost everything, so they are a great staple to own.

Q: What’s your “go to” look for the fall?

A: My “go to” look is jeans and a sweater. They are comfortable and effortlessly cute together.

Q: Do you have any tips or tricks for finding your style?

A: Go to any social media app and search fashion or style. Different types will show up and you can look through them to find items that you like. Then you have to find the clothes that will look good on you and if it is comfortable.
