Swimming
How long have you been swimming?
This is my fourth year swimming competitively.
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
My biggest accomplishment so far this season is winning the 200 freestyle and 100 backstroke at the Ames Invite. A lot of good teams go to that meet, so it was very promising to swim some fast times.
Do you have any personal goals?
My personal goal is to drop time in the 100 backstroke and place at the state meet.
Do you have any team goals?
I’d like for more people on the team to qualify for the state meet this year. We have a lot of talent, and having a larger group of guys at the biggest meet of the year would make it more fun.
Best memory from this or previous seasons?
My favorite memory from this season was going to a travel meet in Iowa City and getting to spend time with some of my best friends.
Do you plan on swimming after this year?
I’m planning to swim with the club team over the summer, but I haven’t decided if I’m going to swim in college or not.
