Students tuning in to wide spectrum of musical inspirations

As junior Alex Lena is driving down the highway, “Eifersncht” by Rammstein blasts form his windows. Lena is into  rock, metal and some country. His two favorite artists are the Smashing Pumpkins and Buckethead. Lena finds love in music because “ it makes me feel,” and he said you will never catch not listening to music because he has it on  24/7. 

When junior Henry Castle is feeling down, he will turn on “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac. He is really into musical theater and his favorite artist is Olivia Rodrego. Castle said he likes listening to music only on the way to school, and he listens to music because “he enjoys the story it tells.”

As senior Stella Ufford is turning on her car, she will also be turning on “Squeeze Me” by Nerd. Ufford’s  favorite artist is Childish Gambino, and she said the reason she loves music so much is because “ it makes me feel awesome.” You will catch her listening to music every second of the day. 

As junior Hughe Steege is in the car with his friends you will hear him singing along to “The Story of Jane” by BabyChiefDoit. Hughe said he loves R and B, and his favorite artist is Drake.  Hughe finds that music brings him peace and makes him happy, and his favorite time to listen to music is during his free time. 

As Aiden Dyen is lying down to relax, he will tune in “Merize” by System Of A Down. He is really into metal, and his favorite artist is Korn. He finds love in music because “it makes me feel comfortable.” Dyen is always in his car listening to music but also listens to it in school.
