Smoothie shop opens downtown
With a love of meeting new people, and providing healthy drink options to the community, Sherman Wise has opened a store of his own in downtown Cedar Falls.
While Wise is already the owner of 2 Scoops Ice Cream Shop in Waterloo, he had taken on the challenge of a second business.
After traveling with his son on the AAU circuit, Wise always made sure to be on the lookout for healthy food options. Once Wise and his son would arrive back in Cedar Falls/Waterloo, he “noticed that [there] were not any quick healthy restaurants that offered smoothies. I found that it wasn’t a lot of options here, so I wanted to fill that void.”
On April 7Wise opened the doors to Smoothie Bar located at 401 Main Street.
